Hello Karen, I bought two of your patterns at the Cherry Pit on Saturday. The Charlotte's Star one was perfect for my crafty Quilt group's brown bag quilt. I started it on Sunday and am putting the border on now. I LOVE YOUR INSTRUCTIONS!!! So easy that I must make another quilt. I also canned 81 quarts of green beans this week also with the help of my family. I am very good at multi tasking and your pattern made the quilt a breeze. Now, to get it to the machine quilter, Denise, at the Cherry Pit. My VERY FAVORITE QUILT STORE. I met you on Saturday and your sister in the first session. This pattern was so much fun to make. I loved the creativity it offered to play around with "dressing up" the snowfolk in different colors of hats and mittens. There were several skills I had never tried before including machine applique and yoyos which were easy to learn with the directions provided. Thanks for such a fun pattern. Hi Karen,
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed you quilting classes. My computer was in the shop and I ended up getting a new one so it has taken me awhile to let you know how I did on my projects.
I finished my pillow when I got home from our last class. Also that night I wrote down all the directions you gave me to do the binding on the table runner . The next night I finished that and it came out perfect 1st try. Yeah!! So I also put that binding on a baby blanket I had made and again I was very happy it worked so well. I have made another pillow out of the baby blanket scraps and it came out very cute. I want to make another table runner with scraps from a window treatment I just had made. I hope I can remember how to do that one. Anyway, I learned so much and I’m very happy with my accomplishments. Since I am very new at this all the tips were so helpful and I enjoyed seeing the works of those more experienced.
Please let me know when your classes start again.
